Desperate Times
I've always found it somewhat conspicuous when bands release a greatest hits CD. It's as if they're telling their fans, "We have nothing original to give you, so here's some old stuff. Pay up."
That said, I'm going to follow the lead of those bands today. My creative mind is taking a little longer to recover from last week than I would prefer and writing about Jimbo again seems entirely unappealing to me today (although I would like to thank you all for the spirited response to my fund-raising request yesterday. We've raised over $400 so far).
Below are some old school DGM posts that seem to have resonated with people. I'll try to rebound tomorrow with something original.
NICE AND COZY -- My daughter finds The Drawer of Sex and Violence.
GET YOUR HEAD IN THE GAME -- My titillating run-in with a massage therapist.
AND I JUST CAN'T LOOK. IT'S KILLING ME. -- The death of magazine journalism looks like a guy in his underwear.
REDIRECTOR'S CUT -- Hot Wife gets a taste of her own medicine.
SCREAM -- A funny interaction with Jimbo.

We keep a small lock on our drawer of naughtiness, don't want the kiddies gambling the the lover's package sex dice...
Well here is the upside of the "best of" albums. It reminds you why you loved the band in the first place, you go through each track and love the next one more than the last. That is no different here, don't sweat the best of post-still freakin hilarious!
I've actually been wanting to do a post of my own about the drawer of sex and violence (mine isn't called that though). If I actually wrap my head around the idea, I will email you to ask for permission to link.
Well given that I'm relatively new to reading your blog, I appreciate being pointed at some of your best entries. Believe it or not :)
Hello.
I love your site. But, I cannot check every day and I cannot get any of the links to previous posts to work.
I've posted about this before and continue to hope that eventually they will work.
Is it just me?
I've tried using IE and Firefox.
Maybe you just don't like me personally. It certainly smacks of rejection each time I click "Breaking Out" and it does nothing.
Sigh.

This is very helpful as a new reader of your blog!
Oh GOD that's funny... thank you SO much! I'll be smiling about these all day!!!
Oh, and you just got another vote for best parenting blog from moi... :)
I love it! The Best of Dad Gone Mad, volume 1! Now don't keep releasing 'Best Ofs' with the same posts over and over with one new post just to get us to buy the same stuff over and over. I loved Redirector's Cut.
